As has been noted, Toyotarau is the one who illustrates this manga series. The serialization of this manga series was initiated way before its anime adaptation started airing. Additionally, Toyotarou told the public that before he gets to draw the storyboard and fill in details, he often gets big plot points from Toriyama. Once he has drawn up the storyboard, he sends it to Toriyama for him to review it and make any necessary changes wherever required. Toriyama edits the first draft makes changes in the art and helps by making the dialogues.
After Toriyama is done doing all this, he just sends it back to Toyotarou. After receiving the draft back, he illustrates the final draft of the manga. Thenafter all this process is completed, then it reaches the Shueisha for publication. Unfortunately, Akira Toriyama passed away back in March of 2024. Consequently, this manga series has been put on an endless/ Indefinite hiatus. Therefore, fans cannot expect new additions to be released any time soon.
